Background

Celemation was founded in late 2022 by Joël Meijering with the mission to make 3D scanning with drones more accessible. Joël has a background in hardware and software and has extensive experience with drones prior to starting the company.

The company was founded due to recent changes:
- The ecosystem of hardware and software used by drones has seen great improvements.
- New EU regulatory frameworks provide a non-ambiguous legal basis.

The RAS100 is designed and produced by Celemation. At the core of the RAS100 are battle-tested industry-standard software and hardware components.

Incubation

In June 2023, Celemation joined ESA BIC Noordwijk, the Dutch business incubation centre of the European Space Agency (for an overview of all incubation centres in the EU, see: the ESA BIC map on the ESA website).

This 2-year incubation programme provides funding, technical support and business support. The programme is managed by the team at the Space Business Innovation Centre Noordwijk (SBIC Noordwijk).
